Leaving davening before it ends
Hi,
One may not leave a shul before Aleinu is recited at the end of davening, even if he has personally finished, unless there is a particular need.
Anonymous- I'd suggest looking at the responsum (available on hebrewbooks.org), but his main sources are the Levush Orach Chaim 55 and Mishneh Berurah 55:14.
Why? What is the basis of this halacha? If there are more than 10 people remaining and I have concluded my prayers, why can I not leave?
