The Nine Days and Tishah b'Av

Hello,

For posts on the laws related to these days, please go here. Note that these posts are from last year, so the specific dates and times in them will not be accurate for this year.

Have a good day,

  1. Good morning,

A few questions re: Tishah b'Av:
    1) I will be working. From the standpoint of greeting people, ought my greeting different be different to Jews vs. non-Jews?
    2) Normally, I sit at a desk to complete my charts, many of which are completed on the computer. I'm not sure how I could incorporate sitting on a low stool and not on a chair for the first half day while examining patients, writing charts, prescriptions etc.?

  2. Hi Michael,

Thanks for commenting on the post, but these are of the type of question I like to leave for the community rabbi to handle.
